Lyndon Smith

Brewmaster, Facilities Manager

Lyndon secured a job as an Assistant Winemaker in Texas after graduating from Oregon State University in 2009 with a degree in fermentation science. After spending several years in Texas, Lyndon moved back home to Oregon to pursue his passion, craft beer. During his professional brewing career, Lyndon has brewed at Rogue Ales, _____________, and __________________. When he isn’t brewing Lyndon enjoys hunting and fishing. His favorite Initiative beer is Hare of the Dog.


Ryan Churchill

Finance, Restaurant Manager

Ryan has had an entrepreneurial drive since his first job back in high school. Prior to spending his last year in the non-profit realm teaching finance to others, he transitioned his own business of three years to begin his pursuit of passion in the realm of craft brews. He graduated the University of Oregon in 2013 with his B.S. in economics and minors in business and mathematics. In addition to business ownership, he has over 8 years in the restaurant industry serving various roles. When he isn't looking over numbers on his computer, Ryan loves rock climbing and board gaming. His favorite Initiative beer is Redemption Stout.
